Kati Kyme directs the 40-piece Berkeley Baroque Strings in a program of J.S. Bach and his sons. Featured are an overture by Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, a sinfonia by Carl Philip Emanuel Bach, a concerto by Johann Christian Bach (J. Phillips, soloist) and an orchestral suite by J. S. Bach.

Directed by Kati Kyme, Berkeley Baroque Strings is an amateur orchestra dedicated to playing in the baroque style. Since its inaugural concert in December 2013, the orchestra has played three concert sets every year, including at the Berkeley Festival Fringe concerts in 2014 and 2016. With each season the orchestra has grown, and now has over 40 members. Conductor Kati Kyme is well known as violinist and frequent leader with Philharmonia Baroque and the American Bach Soloists. Berkeley Baroque Strings is an official affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.
