Please be aware that the first Sunday of the Festival, several main streets in the areas south and west of the University campus will be closed to vehicular traffic. Specifically, Shattuck Ave. from Rose to Channing, Durant Ave. from Shattuck to Bowditch, and Telegraph Ave. from Bancroft to Dwight will be closed to parking as well as to traffic all day, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Please study the map below and plan your trip accordingly, to avoid unnecessary driving delays and to allow sufficient time to find parking, especially if you are planning to attend the 4:00 performance by Seattle Historical Arts for Kids or any of the Fringe concerts that afternoon. Given the street festival atmosphere and anticipated congestion, consider using public transportation.
Street traffic and parking should have returned to normal well before the 7:30 p.m. performance by California Bach Society.
